It sounds brash and arrogant, but it is really not an option, civilization must solve the climate crisis. It is not a choice. There are three ways: 1) Fumble along, as we have, since Kennedy to try to control CO2 emissions, although it has not work and all market mechanisms are against us. (Some conclude we must stop greed and profit motive; is it practical or desirable? No.) Option 2) Pump all kinds of aerosols into the atmosphere is that practical or desirable? No; we are already doing that by default with fossil fuels. Option 3) develop real alternative solutions, to which we say: Yes we can! We must!
Civilization can resolve global warming, and even control sea levels, but we must look beyond conventional technologies and ideas. Harnessing the energy in the atmosphere is a natural solution. It is the fastest, most direct, and most powerful way to control the temperature of the planet. At the same time it drastically reduces need for the greatest causes of climate change; Oxidation of fossil fuels. The energy collection process can also control sea level at the maximum rate that it is expected to rise, by sequestering fresh water on land. This, of course, also solves the food and arable land problem.
The objective in this site is to facilitate action by disseminating understanding and thus to expedite development of Pluvinergy. Here are some ideas on what people can do now.
o Read the book; especially if your are scientifically oriented. You will be surprised by the potential in the atmosphere and the elegant simplicity of Pluvinergy.
o Don't wait for the blessing of the scientific community, it will come in time, but we can't afford the methodical discussion time which conventional peer review requires. The author simply does not have the skills, tools, time, and other resources to present this properly. Even if a large institution was doing this, that process would take decades. By the same token, no one has shown any errors or faults in the logic and physics which can not be overcome for Pluvinergy.
o Like us on Facebook and mention us on other social media. These are powerful tools that can help greatly at this point in Pluvinergy development. Stand by your own reason and understanding, you are as smart as you let yourself be.
o Let us know what ideas you might have to expedite development, weather you are a novice or an expert, every little bit counts.
o Pluvinergy must first be appreciated, then it can be understood, and then development can proceed. Discourse starts with each of us. It is as simple, and logical as it seems. Don't be afraid of it.

This period in history offers an opportunity to make a difference with these great challenge. As we successfully solve these issues, we will participate in an ascension for humanity as great as any in human history.
Pluvinergy is a technology that can makes the difference between ascension with growing global harmony and ecological balance, or despair.
Despite the popular news, civil harmony has been growing along with wealth. Pluvinergy is a continuation of this ascension. It must be so, because building Pluvinergy requires a much greater level of reason in discourse. That in turn, elevates discussion of other more divisive issues.
Controlling Sea Level

It's easy to fall into despair about sea level rise. It seems impossible to save the low-level nations and coastal cities from nearly certain destruction. However, if Pluvinergy works, even if not as effectively as offered here, it is sufficiently powerful to control sea level. When combined with Pluvicopia up to 20 meters of SLR can be controlled as it develops.
We can illustrate the idea with some simple numbers. One powerplant producing 150 tons of freshwater per second, of which 130 would stay on land (86%.) It would take 78 years to lower sea level 1mm. So 780 plants would lower sea level 1 cm per year. Pluvicopia water production plants can produce 4 times as much water or more. It is only a matter of being able to accommodate fresh water into aquifers. In such a case, we have significant tools to control sea level.
Displaced water from Pluvinergy is enough to raise soil moisture at powerplants' foot print and surrounding areas, enough to grow crops, but not much more. Whereas Pluvicopia can produce vast amounts of water to supply all the water we can ever use for soil moisture. The challenge is increasing aquifer recharge rates, but it is a manageable task too.
For illustration: According to USGS figures, if we were to convert 60% of the world's deserts to agriculture, and that required that we double the total soil moisture of the planet, it would only lower sea level by about 46 mm. Let's say we also double the lake content of the planet, including salt lakes. That only adds up to 490 mm. So the only solution for worse case climate change scenarios (IPCC, AR5), is to sequester fresh water in new and existing aquifers.
According to these figures from USGS, 30% of the underground water on the planet equals about 20 meters of SLR. This is equal to melting all of the Greenland ice sheet, plus one and a halve times that much from Antarctica. If this occurs over 500 years, than the rate per year is 40 mm per year, or 4 meters per century. This worse case scenarios, would only materialize in the first century, because Pluvinergy can control climate setting for the planet within 100 years of deployment.
As Greenland ice melts along with Antarctica, the sea level will be rising aggressively. Pluvinergy and Pluvicopia could remove it at just about any rate currently proposed.
That being the case, we could lower sea level while at the same time we can also reduce the amount of ice on land. Both options increase land available for humanity or other species. We are not recommending such actions, that will be for future generations to determine. The point is, we have a choices, when we have tools as powerful as Pluvinergy and Pluvicopia.
However, none of this will be possible if civilization disintegrates before we deploy these tools. Even if we do develop BAE in the next century, and civilization remains viable, we will have lost huge portions of biodiversity if we don't act expediently.
The next ten or twenty years are critical for the viability of current biodiversity, and continued prosperity of civilization.
